Raheem Sterling is having his best goal-scoring season ever after just EIGHTEEN games

Raheem Sterling delivered again when Manchester City needed him most on Saturday afternoon, scoring a late goal to give the Blues a hard-fought 2-1 win over Huddersfield.

The 22-year-old was superb and having endured the abuse of a nation, he is now reaching new levels under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola.

There are many stats which can highlight Raheem’s growth as a footballer, but none catch the eye quite like his goal-scoring record.

With just 18 games gone this season, ‘Raz’ has already topped his previous best goal-scoring seasons after netting his 12th of the season at the John Smith’s Stadium.

2012/13: 2 goals in 36 games
2013/14: 10 goals in 38 games
2014/15: 11 goals in 52 games
2015/16: 11 goals in 47 games
2016/17: 10 goals in 47 games
2017/18: 12 goals in 18 games
