Kevin De Bruyne is hungry for major trophies and believes this could be the season to add several of them to his cabinet.
The 26-year-old gave an interview to The Times and spoke of his confidence of winning titles at City – though understands how difficult that will be.
“I know I can’t win by myself, I can play very good, like I did another season, but I’d prefer even to play less [well] and in the end have some titles,” De Bruyne said.
“Since I’ve been here we’ve just won a League Cup. It’s time to win something major. My feeling is we can win everything.
“That’s not to say we’re going to win everything. It’s so hard to do everything, the four competitions.”
City will hope to restore an eight point lead at the summit of the Premier League when they visit Huddersfield today after Manchester United grinded out a win over Brighton on Saturday to reduce the deficit to five points.
