Alexis Sanchez is certainly doing nothing to dodge rumours of him making a belated move to Manchester City either in January or next summer.
The Arsenal star infamously saw his deadline day move to the Etihad Stadium collapse in the summer, something which he was said to be quite upset against. And he will come up against his suitors and quite possibly his next club when City and Arsenal collide this Sunday.
Ahead of the game, the 28-year-old has been active on social media and appears to have his eyes on Man City’s official Twitter account. The Chilean has only 65 ‘likes’ on Twitter and his latest has gotten everyone talking, after he liked an infographic on Sergio Aguero’s club record.
Will Kun and Alexis be playing together next season or possibly even before then? The media today tried to get Pep Guardiola’s thoughts on a renewed move for the the forward, but the City boss refused to give anything away and shut them down.
“He’s an Arsenal player. His manager has to speak about him. The transfer window is closed.”
Sergio Aguero became Manchester City’s all-time record goalscorer with his goal against Napoli.
