Five Manchester City players – one of them out on loan – have been summoned by England coach Gareth Southgate to represent the Three Lions when they face Germany and Brazil in the upcoming international break.
Joe Hart, on loan at West Ham, is joined by City-based John Stones, Kyle Walker, Fabian Delph and Raheem Sterling in the squad which will face Germany on 10 November and Brazil on 14 November. Both prestige friendlies will be played at Wembley Stadium in London.
Delph won a recall to the last England squad, but was forced to withdraw through injury, and will be hoping to add to his nine England caps following an impressive run at left-back in Pep Guardiola’s Man City squad.
