Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has made a fair number of controversial comments aimed at Manchester City in past years, particularly when the club pursued Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi during the Roberto Mancini era.
It appears now though, that relations are better between the outspoken film producer and Man City bosses, and the 68-year-old today hosted a number of club officials along with UEFA delegates for lunch at the splendid Villa Rocca Matilde, better known as Villa Lauro.
An exceptional meal was served at the seafront villa and the group enjoyed dinner with a very friendly atmosphere.
On the Italian side, De Laurentiis was joined by Andrea Chiavelli, Alessandro Formisano, Nicola Lombardo, Antonio Saracino, Serena Salvione and Cristiano Giuntoli.
Manchester City was represented by Ferran Soriano (CEO), Txiki Begiristain (Director of Football), Mike Summerbee (Club Ambassador), Danny Wilson (Operations Director), Omar Berrada (COO), Diego Gigliani (Senior Vice President – Media and Innovation) and Natasha Mullany (Head of Protocol).
