Bersant Celina had a day he won’t soon forget on Saturday when he struck a last minute winner to give Ipswich Town a 2-1 win over Burton Albion in the Championship.
The 21-year-old Kosovan, on loan at The Tractor Boys from Manchester City, had only been on the pitch for 5 minutes when he struck a free kick over the Burton wall and into the net.
The win put Ipswich just a point outside of the Championship play-off zone and was Bersant’s fourth goal for Mick McCarthy’s side, despite the bulk of his appearances to date coming off the bench.
The fun didn’t end with his goal though, as Celina went crazy in his celebration and threw his shirt into the crowd. He then had to ask for it back so he could keep playing for the time left on the clock!
