Gabriel Jesus, Kylian Mbappé or Ousmane Dembélé? Golden Boy 2017 winner revealed…

The winner of this year’s Golden Boy award has been revealed and unfortunately for Manchester City fans it isn’t Brazilian sensation Gabriel Jesus, who made the final shortlist of three men.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport, the Turin-based newspaper which established the award and which receives input from top European newspapers each year, reveals that French super-talent Kylian Mbappé, who made the big move from Monaco to PSG in the summer, is the 2017 of an award previously won by the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero, Raheem Sterling and Paul Pogba.

Gabriel Jesus and Ousmane Dembélé were the beaten ‘finalists’ from an original 25-man list, but along with winner Mbappé enjoyed great form in 2016-17 and will undoubtedly be leading figures in the world of football for years to come.
