Bernardo Silva will not be the first Premier League star retrospectively punished for simulation after the FA decided not to take any action against him.
The 23-year-old went down under a challenge from Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope and, for some reason, some felt he dived, despite his foot clearly being caught under Pope’s knee.
According to Stu Brennan of the Manchester Evening News, the FA have had a look at the incident and correctly deemed it not something worth further action.

The Portuguese international is therefore clear to play in the upcoming games and could start tomorrow night against Wolves as City look to progress to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
