Pep Guardiola has been firing his Manchester City stars up by having Oasis tunes played in the dressing room before games, according to a report by Martin Blackburn of The Sun.
The City boss is a big fan of the iconic Manchester band and Noel Gallagher performed the first in-house interview with Pep following his arrival at the club in 2016.
Noel and Liam are both famous City fans and their songs are associated with the club, often heard before and after games at the Etihad Stadium, and recently Pep has been making sure one of their tracks has been playing when the squad reaches the dressing room prior to games.
A ‘source’ at the club told Martin Blackburn, “He’s used a few different ones. Has it been a factor in the recent form? Definitely… maybe.”
It certainly looks like Noel and Liam’s music has been helping the Blues out in recent weeks with City on a nine-match winning run heading into tonight’s big game against Napoli at the Etihad.
