Craig Pawson has been handed his first Manchester City assignment of the season and will be the referee when City host Stoke at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday.
The 38-year-old Yorkshireman last took charge of a City game late last season when the Blues dispatched of West Brom in May. A month prior to that he was the man in charge of City’s last defeat in a competitive fixture, the FA Cup semi final defeat to Arsenal at Wembley.
In total, Pawson has been the referee for eight City games, three of them wins, three draws and two defeats.
