Manchester City hit hardest by international break with players traveling 106,873 miles

The drawback of having a squad packed with elite talent is the majority of players are called to the far corners of the world for each international break, and Manchester City are being hit hardest in the ongoing break.

Fifteen City first-team stars are away on international duty and are covering a staggering amount of distance. Thanks to research compiled by bettingexpert, we have learned that City players are travelling a total of 106,873 miles during this break.

That’s an incredible 35,850 miles more than Liverpool, the next team on the list, who also have fifteen players summoned for the internationals. Then come neighbours Manchester United, followed by Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

City have four home games in ten days following the internationals, with fixtures against Stoke, Napoli, Burnley and Wolves in quick succession, and Pep Guardiola will have to skillfully rotate his squad to avoid fatigue.

Here is the infographic provided to us by bettingexpert that shows just how much distance is being covered by players from City and other Premier League giants.
