Manchester City and Arsenal both have eyes on Barcelona with a shake-up in the sporting department underway, which has led to the departure of a figure both clubs would like to sign.
According to Catalan newspaper SPORT, renowned deal-maker or ‘transfer closer’ Raül Sanllehí is departing Camp Nou as part of an overhaul in the club’s executive department, with the two Premier League giants keen to recruit him.
It is reported by Cadena SER that Sanllehí is already out of the door as part of Barça’s remodeling, despite having been a key executive for Barcelona for signings at the club for more than fifteen years.

Sanllehí has been linked with a switch to the Etihad Stadium since the arrivals of two former Barcelona chiefs, Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain, and the changes at Barcelona could lead to it finally happening.
However, Arsenal have also joined the race for Sanllehí, with Ivan Gazidis having a long-standing friendship with him. Gazidis sees Sanllehí as an ideal replacement for Richard Law as the Gunners’ main transfer negotiator.
Raül Sanllehí’s future should become clear in a ‘matter of days’ according to SPORT and it may well be that he ends up at Man City or Arsenal very soon.
