At this time, there are no further updates on what the issue is, but there is no indication it is anything serious or it is unlikely that he would have joined up with the England camp.
Delph, 27, has been a revelation in recent weeks, filling in for the injured Benjamin Mendy at left-back and putting in high-level performances against both Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea.
Pep: "The last few games Delph has played and he had an outstanding performances. He doesn't lose the ball, he is aggressive and clever."

This led to an England recall for the World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Lithuania, but his participation in the first of those is pending an assessment from the England medical staff.
