Manchester City have not just one, but the two most creative players in the Premier League this season to date – which should come as no surprise given the swashbuckling attacking play and sheer number of goals that have come from Pep Guardiola’s side.
Kevin De Bruyne has created more chances than any other Premier League star, with 24, barely ahead of Manchester City teammate David Silva who has 23.
Trailing to the two City stars is Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan (21), Stoke City’s Shaqiri (20) and Chelsea’s Cesc Fàbregas (17).
Between them, KDB and Silva have therefore created 47 chances with De Bruyne having 3 assists and Silva an impressive 6, more than any other player in England’s top-flight. And just think, City have both Bernardo Silva and İlkay Gündoğan as alternative options – no creative slouches themselves!
