What a feeling, what a night! Manchester City put on perhaps the finest performance of the Pep Guardiola era to date, dominating Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tonight and coming away with a deserved 1-0 win.
It was a performance full of style and swashbuckling attacking football, but the goals just wouldn’t come, raising fears of a classic Chelsea sucker punch on the counter-attack.
Before that could happen though, Chelsea old boy Kevin De Bruyne struck a peach of a goal to break the deadlock and City held on to that lead for the remainder of the game.
We caught the moment KDB’s strike hit the net on the City Watch Snapchat, and it resulted in pandemonium in the away end.
