Manchester City will be well represented in the England under-17 squad at the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup in India, with three of the club’s young prospects selected in the 21-man squad.
The name that stands out most is Phil Foden, the 17-year-old local lad already in and around Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad. He is joined by goalkeeper Curtis Anderson and defender Joel Latibeaudiere, while former Blue, Jadon Sancho, who recently left for Borussia Dortmund, is also included.
The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup runs from 6–28 October in India with 24 teams playing their games across 6 venues.
