Premier League giants Manchester City and Arsenal are keeping tabs on Fulham’s highly-rated England youth international midfielder Matt O’Riley, the Mirror reports.
The 16-year-old has broken through to Fulham’s first team squad this season, starting twice in the Carabao Cup for the Cottagers, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
O’Riley has been called up for England under-17 duties and their September friendlies against Brazil and South Africa ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India this year.
A left-footed playmaker, O’Riley has the technical and passing ability that coaches like Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger admire, and either club could soon make a move for the player.
City signed Patrick Roberts from Fulham in 2015 and are among a host of top sides to have been linked with another of their young aces, Ryan Sessegnon, a 17-year-old left-back.
