Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Starting Lineups & TV Information

It’s the biggest game of the season so far today for Manchester City against a side who have provided the Blues with many problems in recent years, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Always up for the big games, Liverpool took four points off City last season and you have to go back to 2014 since City prevailed over their Merseyside rivals in the league (but let’s not forget the League Cup final win in 2016!).

Pep Guardiola will hope to improve City’s recent record against Liverpool today in what will be the second match of the season hosted at the Etihad, the first a 1-1 draw against Everton.

Jon Moss is today’s referee and here are the teams named by Pep and Klopp for the early season crunch clash:

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Mendy, Danilo, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero, Jesus

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Klavan, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Salah, Mane, Firmino.

The match can be viewed on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
