Swansea City have tonight confirmed that striker Wilfried Bony will be returning to the club after a two-and-a-half stay at Manchester City.
Bony has signed a two-year deal with an option of a third at Swansea and will take the number 2 shirt. It is believed the fee paid by the Swans will be £12million, with City receiving less than half of the £25million that they splashed out on him in 2015.
Swansea confirmed the capture late tonight.

Bony scored 35 goals in 70 appearances in his previous spell at the Liberty Stadium, but his £25 million move to the Etihad Stadium didn’t quite work out and has resulted in just 10 goals in 46 games.
The Ivorian thanked fans of City and Stoke on Instagram, expressing his excitement at rejoining the South Wales club.
