Eliaquim Mangala may not be getting his desired move to Inter this summer, with the club’s sporting director Walter Sabatini declaring in recent minutes their work in the market done and there will be no more incomings.

Mangala has rejected permanent moves to Spartak Moscow and Stoke City this summer, with Inter his preferred destination, but with very little money to spend, despite their Chinese ownership, the Nerazzurri have struggled to finance deals – even loans.
While it could be an Italian bluff, this means City have just over a day to find Mangala a new club, and it could bode well for their pursuit of Jonny Evans.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis wants Mangala to go the other way, possibly on loan, as a condition for a sale of Evans to City. With very little time left to be picky, Mangala may have to resign himself to the move, unless Inter or another club spring a late surprise.
