It’s been a pretty weird transfer window, hasn’t it? And now a report from The Mirror has made it just a little bit weirder.
According to the report, Manchester City have tabled an offer for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez which would see Raheem Sterling go the other way.
There has now been contact between both Arsenal and City regarding a deal for want-away star Sanchez and it is believed that City have thrown Sterling into the deal in order to seal a deal before the end of the window.
The belief in the Manchester City camp is that Arsenal will not sell for anything less than £70 million, something that City aren’t yet willing to offer. However, they do believe a player + cash deal would tempt Arsenal into selling, and that player could be Raheem Sterling despite his impressive start to the season.
