Manchester City have splashed out £2million to sign highly-rated Ghana youth international Aminu Mohammed from the West African Football Academy, according to an exclusive report by Ghanasoccernet.com.
The 16-year-old forward has been watched for months by Etihad scouts, and having also been chased by European giants Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, it is claimed that Mohammed is now joining City.
Mohammed has been compared to Neymar because of his impressive dribbling skills and goal scoring ability, and also caught the eye of PSG after scoring twice against them in the Al Kass tournament in Qatar this year.
Following two weeks of negotiations, City have decided to invest £2million in his talents, with the teenager expected to go out on loan after the U17 World Cup. Young African players can rarely receive work permits to play in England, so the likelihood is that he’ll be sent to Norway, Holland, France or Belgium to continue his development.
