Tottenham have abandoned their interest in signing Manchester City wonderkid Jadon Sancho this month after suggestions he was close to a move.
According to Dan Kilpatrick, the Tottenham correspondent at ESPN FC, Spurs will not be signing 17-year-old Sancho, who recently went on strike at City to try and force a both back to London.

Sancho is free to join another club, but would not be allowed to play for them before the end of his scholarship deal without permission from Man City, who are unwilling to release one of their hottest prospects.
Arsenal have also been strongly interested in Sancho, who is close personal friends with young Gunner, Reiss Nelson, but they will face similar complications should they now decide to move for the troubled teenager.
If City do decide to release Sancho to an English club before the transfer window closes, a fee would be determined by a tribunal and the club could expected £3million-plus. As it stands though, Sancho faces the prospect of remaining at City despite his best efforts to manufacture a move away.
