Manchester City draw Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli and Feyenoord in the Champions League group stage

Manchester City have been drawn against Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli and Feyenoord in Group F of this season’s Champions League.

It will be the first time City have taken on Napoli since their Champions League debut campaign in 2011-12, when the Italians, then with Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi in their side, took four points from Roberto Mancini’s team. And with the excellent Maurizio Sarri in charge, they will again present a tough challenge to City.

And for the first time in the Champions League, City have drawn Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk and Dutch champions Feyenoord, giving the Blues a fresh-looking and potentially winnable group this year.
