Jason Denayer continues to wait to learn where he will be playing his club football next season after potential moves to Lyon and Girona FC didn’t happen this summer.
The 22-year-old Belgian is disgruntled with life at City, particularly after they blocked a move to Lyon when he had agreed personal terms, hoping to push him in the direction of partner club Girona instead.
Denayer had no interest in going to Girona, but according to Webaslan, Galatasaray, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell in the 2015-16 season, could present him with the escape he wants.
The Turkish giants, who have already signed Fernando from City this summer, are in talks with Manchester City, but the two sides are in disagreement over the formula of transfer. City want them to cough up €7million to €8million and buy Denayer, while Galatasaray want him on loan with an option to buy.
The feeling is this one could go down to the wire and with Denayer’s will now being to return to Galatasaray, the Turks are hopeful that City will cave in and hand the centre-back over on loan before the transfer deadline.
