Twelve (thirteen if you count Joe Hart) Manchester City players have been called up by England across various age groups, highlighting the wealth of home-grown talent that exists at the club.
John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker have been selected for the senior team to face Malta and Slovakia in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers, while Hart, out on loan at West Ham, will also be involved.
And eight youngsters have been summoned across the under-18, under-19 and under-20 age groups, including Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho, who could be heading to Spurs soon.
Patrick Roberts has not been selected for the under-20 or under-21 squads, possibly a consequence of him snubbing England’s under-20 World Cup campaign to finish the season at Celtic.
