West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has confirmed to the press that Manchester City have launched a bid for their skipper Jonny Evans, who previously played for local rivals Manchester United.
Speaking ahead of West Brom’s weekend fixture against Burnley, Tony Pulis said that it would take a ‘very, very good offer’ for Jonny Evans to be allowed to go to Manchester City.
Tony Pulis said: “We’ve turned down an offer for Jonny. We don’t want to sell Jonny and we don’t need to sell him. It would have to be a very, very good offer.
“Jonny understands the situation and where everything is. He is happy here and wants to get on with his football. Jonny is one of our best players. We all understand where we are.”
An offer may well have to reach the heights of £30 million for Tony Pulis to sell his star defender, maybe Pep Guardiola should check out what’s available elsewhere and have a look at the latest offers from Sports Direct.
