“Larry”, as he is nicknamed, was the top scorer in Austria’s top flight last season, scoring 17 goals in 33 games for Austria Wien, in addition to scoring two goals in two games against AS Roma in the Europa League. He also has several caps for the senior Nigeria national side.
He will follow Pablo Maffeo, Aleix Garcia, Douglas Luiz and Marlos Moreno to the newly-promoted La Liga side, making it five City players now on loan at the Catalan club.
Girona’s sporting director, Quique Cárcel, earlier confirmed that the Nigerian is already training with the club, ahead of his loan switch being made official.
