Manchester City’s Brandon Barker is close to completing season-long loan to Hibernian, according to an exclusive report from Edinburgh News.
The report doesn’t give too much away, but says that Barker is set to arrive in Edinburgh within the next 24 hours in order to finalise talks and undergo a medical.
Barker spent the previous season out on loan at NAC Breda where we helped the Dutch side to promotion to the Eredivisie, making 23 appearances in total and scoring on two occasions. Before that, he went out briefly on loan to Rotherham United in a two-month deal, however it was cut short by Manchester City after just 4 appearances.
Brandon Barker will be hoping to take this chance in the Scottish Premier League in order to impress current boss Pep Guardiola and play a role in the future at Manchester City.
