Referee appointed for Manchester City vs. Everton

Bobby Madley will take charge of Manchester City’s first home game of the season when Everton visit the Etihad Stadium next Monday.

It will be Madley’s first City match of the season, his previous appointment having come at the end of last season when the Blues beat Leicester 2-1 at home. Prior to that, he was in charge when City thrashed Hull 3-0 away from home on Boxing Day.

Madley has given City penalties in both of his last appointments, and also gave Leicester one in May, the infamous Mahrez double-touch penalty fiasco.

Full appointments for Manchester City vs. Everton:

Referee: Bobby Madley
Assistants: M Perry, L Betts
