PSG have no plans to bid for Manchester City and Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappé – report

Will Kylian Mbappé leave Monaco this season? He’s been linked with a number of sides, including Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid, however the latter two are believed to have all but ruled themselves out of the race.

It had been reported that PSG were ready to, or had already, lodged a bid for Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappé. However, Chief Football Correspondent of The Telegraph, Jason Burt, has this afternoon reported that PSG will not make a £140million bid for Mbappé during this transfer window and do not intend to follow up on any previous enquiries.

Senior sources at PSG have dismissed the idea of any bid this window after they managed to land the signing of Neymar from Barcelona, their number one target. Real Madrid also appear to be out of the race with Gareth Bale set to stay at the club despite reports linking him away – it was reported that Real Madrid would only make a move for Kylian Mbappé if Bale was to move on.

That appears to leave just Manchester City or a Monaco stay for the 18-year-old. It’s no secret that Pep Guardiola sees Mbappé as the perfect forward for his style of play and refused to rule out any move when asked. Could a third Monaco player join the club?
