Caen and France under-21 striker Yann Karamoh is ready to reject interest from Premier League giants Manchester City and Arsenal to join Inter Milan, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia reports this evening.
Ivorian-born Karamoh, 19, scored 5 goals in 35 appearances during his debut campaign for Caen’s first team last season, with his performances catching the attention of scouts, including those from the two English clubs.
However, he sees Italy as a preferable destination for his development and Inter have submitted a €5million bid to Karamoh’s club after convincing the youngster that their project is the best bet for him.
Karamoh is reportedly ‘not convinced’ by the offers from England, and he would probably be loaned to Girona in La Liga were he to move to the Etihad, which now seems to be City’s strategy for developing some of their most promising starlets.
The teenager is out of contract next summer, forcing Caen to sell him now, but his future looks to be in Milan, not Manchester or London.
