Jason Denayer is still waiting to learn where he will be playing his football next season after the move he wanted, to Lyon in France, fell through.
The 22-year-old Belgian international wanted to move to Lyon and had agreed personal terms, but Manchester City were pushing him towards partner club Girona in Spain, and Lyon moved on to other targets, much to Denayer’s dismay.
Denayer is not at all keen on a move to Girona and while he may still end up there, other teams have shown interest or been offered his services as he prepares for a fourth loan move away from City.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws in Belgium, the centre-back has been offered to Bordeaux in France, but they were not interested.
Galatasaray, where Denayer enjoyed a year on loan in the 2015-16 season, want him back, as do two other unnamed Turkish clubs. He is not short on options, but City continue to push him towards Girona.
