Alexis Sanchez has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to join the Ligue 1 giants provided a deal can be struck with Arsenal.
This is the claim of Paris United, a super-reliable source of PSG news with a great track record, which tonight claims that Alexis is edging closer to PSG, despite their pursuit of Barcelona superstar Neymar in what would be a world record deal.

PSG will now make a first proposal of €50million (£45million) to Arsenal, who do not want to sell the player, but may be more inclined to if a suitable offer comes from abroad.
Supposing this news is accurate, it is a huge blow to Pep Guardiola’s summer plans, as the will of Alexis – who wants to join Manchester City according to widespread reports – was City’s best chance of getting a deal done with Arsenal. If Sanchez is now open to a Ligue 1 switch, City lose their main source of leverage and could be out of luck.
If City can’t sign Sanchez, it will be interesting to see if an alternative is lined up. Ousmane Dembélé was mentioned several weeks ago, while City’s admiration for Monaco ace Kylian Mbappé is well-known but could land the club in hot water.
