Sevilla have ended Nolito’s unhappy spell in England by signing the Spain international from Manchester City in a deal worth around €9million (£7.9million).

Nolito has penned a three-year contract at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and will work under Eduardo Berizzo, who previously coached him during his time at Celta Vigo.
Nolito turned down a move to Barcelona last summer in favour of working with Pep Guardiola, and his City career started brightly with five goals and an assist in his first nine appearances. Heading into 2017, though, the winger suddenly fell out of favour with Guardiola, rumoured to be related to poor performances in training, and he has played only 164 minutes of football this year.
