Celtic have completed the signing of French midfielder Olivier Ntcham from Manchester City in a deal worth around £4.5million.

The highly-rated 21-year-old has spent the past two seasons on loan at Genoa in Italy, but after they decided not to use their option to buy him, Celtic swooped for his services and he has penned a four-year deal.
Ntcham will link up with fellow French under-21 international, Moussa Dembélé, and told Celtic that having never won a trophy before, he wants to win everything at the Scottish giants.
He told the official Celtic website: “Celtic is fresh challenge for me. While Genoa are a good team, I knew they wouldn’t win Serie A as they were not a top team like Juventus, but I know Celtic are a big team in Scotland.”
City Watch understands that Celtic have paid £3million up-front for Ntcham with another £1.5million to follow in add-ons. There had been reports from France of a £7million deal, but those appear to have been exaggerated.
