Manchester City have signed Douglas Luiz for a fee of €12m who is likely to be sent to Girona on loan for the season.

Sporting midfielder William Carvalho could be on his way to City for a fee of €30m that could include Fernando going the other way.

Dani Alves has been officially announced by PSG today after opting for a move to the Parisian club over City.

Serge Aurier will now be able to leave PSG after the arrival of Alves with City monitoring the situation.

Although first choice target for the right-back position – Kyle Walker – may cost the Blues up to £50m for his signature which is proving to be a big obstacle in any potential transfer agreement.

Young City defender Tosin Adarabioyo could be loaned to a Premier League team or top-half Championship team to gain more first-team football next season.

Olivier Ntcham has been sold to Celtic for a deal worth £4.5m.

Manchester City U-21s have been entered into next season’s Checkatrade trophy which will see them play teams from Leagues 1 & 2.

Leicester could sign £25m Kelechi Iheanacho as early as before next week.
