Alexis Sanchez has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City this summer as he faces a contract stand off with Arsenal. And with Bayern Munich and Chelsea reportedly ruling themselves out of the race, City’s chances of landing the 28-year-old have improved.
Pep Guardiola has made the Arsenal star a main target, however Arsenal are trying to make a domestic sale difficult, although they know they face the real possibility of losing Sanchez on a free transfer next season if he doesn’t renew his contract.
When asked if he’d be a teammate of the man sat next to him, Bravo, next season, Alexis laughed and said, “Good question! Right now I’m focused on the Confederations Cup. My future will be decided after the cup. I know what it is, but cannot say.”
Whether that means he will stay at Arsenal remains to be seen, however his refusal to confirm his future at the club is sure to raise even more questions about his future at the Emirates.
