Manchester City are set to complete the signing of Dani Alves from Juventus on a free transfer once his release from the Serie A club is made official.
The 34-year-old left-back has verbally agreed a two-year contract with City and will reunite with former boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, according to Sam Lee of Goal and Romeo Agresti of Goal Italia.

A report last night appeared to confirm that Juventus have agreed to tear up Alves’ contract as he pursues his ambition of playing in the Premier League, but until the Italian club announce this to the stock exchange, it isn’t official information.
Once Alves’ release is definite, he will be free to complete his move to Man City.
