Manchester City have today officially launched the 2017-18 home kit, a traditional design featuring a round neck blue shirt with blue trim, white shorts and maroon-banded socks.
The kit is inspired by the strip worn in 1967-68 when Joe Mercer’s Manchester City side were crowned champions of England. This Nike Vapor kit has a modern twist with its innovative Aeroswift technology.
The latest instalment features a round neck blue shirt with a white trim, white shorts and maroon-banded socks, just as it did 50 years ago when Joe Mercer’s Blues were crowned champions of England for the 1967/68 season.
Etihad continues to be the main sponsor, but for the first time Nexen Tire will appear on the left sleeve in Premier League games, with sleeve sponsors introduced for the first time.
