Manchester City have confirmed that winger Jesus Navas will depart the club this summer after a four-year spell at the Etihad.
Less than an hour after confirming Gael Clichy’s departure, the club broke the less obvious news that Navas will leave when his contract expires on June 30.
It was widely reported that the 31-year-old had been offered a new deal, but Sevilla have offered him a three-year contract to return home, which he appears to have accepted.
Navas won the Premier League in 2013-14 with City, and lifted the League Cup trophy twice. In total, he made 77 Premier League starts, appearing from the bench in 46 other games.
Navas is the third Manchester City star to leave the club so far this summer after Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy.
