Yaya Touré and his agent have joined together to pledge a £100,000 donation (£50,000 each) to the victims of last night’s terror attack on the Manchester Arena.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Dimitri Seluk, Touré’s representative, said, “The news an eight-year-old girl went to see her favourite singer and didn’t return home is too much to bear.”
“Yaya and I want to help. We talked this morning about what happened and he asked me what he thought we could do.”
Seluk has been criticised for his remarks towards Manchester City in the past, but you can only tip your hat to him and Yaya for this generous act of kindness.
If you would like to contribute your own donation, the Manchester Evening News has created a crowdfunding page with the aim of raising money for victims of the terrorist attack.
