Pep Guardiola confirmed after Manchester City’s 5-0 win over Watford today that Sergio Aguero will remain at Manchester City next season.
Speaking to the press following an impressive performance by the Blues, Pep said, “They are players for Manchester City and they will be in Manchester City next season.”
When Sam Lee of Goal asked Pep to confirm his comment on Aguero, the City manager responded, “You’ve been there in Manchester, how many times have I said? He will be here.”
Kun himself was asked before getting on the bus and said much the same!
Just asked Aguero.
Me: "Are you staying?"
SA: "Me? Yes!"
Me: "Are you confirming that?"
SA "Why not?!" *gets on bus* https://t.co/N7MTZCC2UX

Aguero’s agent recently said that as things stood, Kun would “100 per cent” remain a Man City player, and comments from both Guardiola and Aguero today only reinforce that stance.
The iconic Argentine struck twice today against Watford, becoming just the fifth player in Premier League history to score 20+ goals in three successive seasons after Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Harry Kane.
Aguero is now almost certain to overtake Eric Brook next season and become Manchester City’s all-time leading scorer.
