As many as TWELVE players could be on their way out of Manchester City this summer as Pep Guardiola’s prepares to get ruthless and overhaul his underachieving squad.
The Mail on Sunday reports all the usual names who could go, with club legend Pablo Zabaleta now confirmed to be on his way out. Zabaleta will join West Ham in the summer after agreeing a two-year deal with the Hammers.
Jesus Navas, Willy Caballero, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Yaya Touré are also out of contract, while Joe Hart, Eliaquim Mangala, Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri or Jason Denayer could all go on permanent deals following loan spells away.
The cull may not end there, with the report claiming that the club will listen to offers for 20-year-old forward Kelechi Iheanacho, who has been overshadowed by the arrival of Gabriel Jesus and is struggling to get much game time under Pep Guardiola.
Iheanacho has been linked with a move to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, but if City allow him to leave permanently or on loan, there will be many suitors in the market for such a clinical young striker.
