Vincent Kompany has been voted the City Watch Player of the Month after thousands of Blues voted for the standout player in April.
The Manchester City skipper returned from injury and has not only avoided further problems, but has quickly improved the City defence, bringing some stability and order to it. He also scored in the 3-0 win over Southampton on April 15.
Kompany received 50% of the 6,520 votes, ahead of David Silva (23%), Sergio Agüero (20%) and Nicolas Otamendi (7%).
