Referee appointed for Arsenal vs. Manchester City

Manchester City face Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final this weekend.

The man in charge of the occasion will be 37-year-old Craig Pawson who has only officiated one City game so far this season, the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

Pawson has been in charge of 30 games this season handing out 123 yellow cards and 5 reds in the process, the latest saw him controversially send Sebastian Larsson off for a challenge on Ander Herrera.

In the Premier League, Pawson has refereed Arsenal on two occasions this season in which they beat West Ham and Burnley away. He also officiated the Community Shield at Wembley at the start of the season in which United beat Leicester 2-1.
