Manchester City to decide future of wonderkid striker in summer with Lazio interested

After 17 goals in 28 Eredivisie games for FC Twente, it should come as no surprise that Manchester City wonderkid Enes Ünal has many admirers. The 19-year-old is due to return to Manchester in the close season, where a decision will be made about his next move.

One side interested in him, according to exclusive information collected by LazioNews24, is Serie A outfit Lazio, who are looking for another forward to play alongside Ciro Immobile.

And Ünal is on their list of potential recruits after an impressive season in the Netherlands, which has alerted clubs across Europe to his talents. However, negotiations with City will not be easy, firstly because they intend to evaluate the Turkish youngster during pre-season when he’ll get the chance to possibly work his way into Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad.

The other obstacle for Lazio is the fact that other European sides want Ünal and LazioNews24 states that if City were to put him up for sale, an auction would begin at €10 million (£8.4 million). Another loan move for the striker is more likely, but it is clear that Enes Ünal has interest from important clubs, a sign of how much he has developed this season.

For a limited time, you can get your hands on a Manchester City official shirt from just £30 for adults and £22.50 for children.

Make sure you grab one!
