Manchester City youngster Enes Ünal scored his 15th goal of the 2016-17 Eredivisie season last night as FC Twente held reigning champions PSV to a 2-2 draw, effectively ending their hopes of retaining the Dutch league title.
Ünal wasn’t the only City starlet who shone for The Tukkers at De Grolsch Veste, however, with attacking midfielder Bersant Celina playing a huge part in the outcome. The 20-year-old Kosovan international, who signed a new four-year deal with City last year, set up Ünal’s opener, before scoring at the death so salvage a point for the hosts.
It will be the goal scored by teenager Ünal that grabs the attention of most, the Turk powering home a strike in the early stages of the game. With many changes expected at the Etihad this summer, it will be interesting to see if Pep considers either Ünal or Celina for his overhaul.
