It’s time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

It was a day largely focused around Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his thoughts on certain individuals and the season as a whole.

Guardiola made the admission that he should have done better this season and promises to repair City’s fortunes for the 2017/18 campaign.

Ahead of their meeting on Saturday, Guardiola praised Hull City boss Marco Silva.

As well as Marco getting the compliments, City own Silva – David – was also the subject of some positive comments from Guardiola.

City took a step towards a new tradition as they reached an agreement to always attack the South Stand in the second half when they won the toss.

In the world of transfers, Real Madrid could be a major stumbling block in City’s attempt to sign Valencia full-back Jose Gaya, according to the Spanish press.

The statistics for agent fees over the past 12 months were revealed, and it’s not good reading for City fans…
