At long last, first evidence of the 2017-18 Manchester City home shirt has arrived! Once again the lads over at Footy Headlines have come up with the goods, posting images of next season’s shirt.
Besides the Etihad logo, next season’s shirt will sport a sleeve sponsor for the first time, with Nexen Tire’s logo on the sleeves (in the league).
While this season’s home shirt had navy sleeves, those of the 2017-18 home kit are just a bit darker than the shirt, resulting in a much cleaner overall look. The shirt uses Nike’s Vapor template with subtle changes to the lateral insets as well as to the pattern on the sleeves.
And in a decision that will please many, next season’s home kit kit returns to white shorts and sky blue socks, with the latter featuring a maroon band around the calf.
